Location. The Royal Lahaina Resort in Lahaina, Maui, is a 27 acre, tropical retreat that rests on Kaanapali Beach. Whalers Village, one quarter mile from the hotel, provides an introduction to Hawaii's culture and marine life.
Hotel Features. The dark wood lobby of the Royal Lahaina Resort features frescoed ceilings, mirrored columns and Maui murals. A Polynesian luau, scheduled most nights, is popular among guests and Maui residents. Live entertainment is provided on the pool deck in front of the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant during dinner. This property features a tennis ranch that attracts players from around the world. Tropically landscaped lawns and plumeria fragranced gardens provide a retreat. Expert Tip. The Royal Lahaina Resort is one of the island's more popular romantic destinations, as evidenced by walkway stepping stones engraved with the names of past brides and grooms. Newlyweds are invited to sign a commemorative tile, and place it along the property's scenic footpath.
