Location. The Sol Piramide Salou is a modern family friendly hotel situated in the resort of Salou on the Costa Doranda. The six floor property is 200 metres from the commercial centre and 500 metres from the beach. Barcelona Airport (BCN) is 80 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.

Hotel Features. The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, one of them for children, and poolside snack bar. There is a varied daytime entertainment programme for adults and children including sporting games and competitions. Kids are kept entertained with supervised activities in the mini club. In the evenings there is entertainment with shows or live music. Internet access is available at the hotel and other amenities include a games room and TV room. Multilingual staff at the tour desk can offer excursions and tickets to nearby theme parks such as Universal Studios Port Aventura. Those arriving by car will find an indoor parking garage.

Sol Piramide has a buffet style restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with show cooking and theme nights.

Getting there. The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes. From Barcelona take the Renfe train to Salou. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and cost 6 EUR. The bus company Plana links Barcelona City Centre to Salou. The bus leaves from Passeig the Gracia, next to the Metro Station. A taxi from the airport costs approximately EUR 150.
